Lamborghini Revuelto

The Revuelto succeeds the Aventador and marks a turning point for Lamborghini, the first time a V12 has shared its work with electric motors at Sant'Agata. The 6.5 litre engine and three motors combine for 1,001 horsepower, 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and a top speed beyond 350 km/h. It is the brand at its most ambitious, and it looks every bit of it.

What surprises people is how usable all of that feels. The all-wheel-drive system and electric torque vectoring make the power approachable, so the car moves with you rather than against you. The carbon-fibre monocoque keeps it rigid, the digital cockpit puts everything in front of the driver, and the scissor doors and exposed engine bay draw a crowd the moment you stop.

Sheikh Zayed Road finally gives the V12 room, and the wide sweep of it at speed is where the Revuelto belongs.
