Porsche 911 GT3 RS

The GT3 RS is where Porsche stops compromising. It takes the already focused GT3 and strips it further, then adds the aerodynamics of a competition car. The 4.0 litre naturally aspirated flat-six revs to 9,000 rpm and sends 518 horsepower to the rear wheels through a seven-speed PDK. It reaches 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and runs on to 296 km/h, though the headline numbers undersell what the car is really about. Porsche built this machine around feel, sound and precision.

The aerodynamics are what you notice once the road opens up. The swan-neck rear wing and active DRS produce real downforce, and at speed the car feels glued to the surface in a way no comfortable GT can manage. The cabin is stripped back and serious, with full bucket seats and a roll cage, so you travel light and bring a sense of occasion.
