The Phantom is the flagship of Rolls-Royce and the benchmark every rival saloon is judged against. Its 6.75 litre twin-turbo V12 produces 563 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque, moving the car to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds while the cabin stays library-quiet throughout. The suspension uses a camera to read the road ahead and smooth the surface before the wheels reach it, so the experience feels closer to floating than driving.

Inside, the Phantom is nearer to a private room than a car. Five people travel in hand-stitched leather beneath the Starlight headliner, the rear coach doors close themselves at the touch of a button, and lambswool mats sit underfoot.
